Mitchell Jarrett is a Creative Director/User Experience Specialist living and working in D.C., by way of Charlottesville and Nashville. His Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture with a minor concentration in Studio Art from the University of Virginia has helped inform his out of the box approach to Marketing and Advertising. His hobbies include photography, poetry and attending a considerable number of concerts.

Challenge
While paying homage to precedent, display the years best cover designs in a striking montage.
Action
With both of Mitchell’s staff photographer’s on vacation and the issue running twice it’s usual size, find a way to show off the cover art without simply slapping a grid of images on the cover.
Resolution
Combine the two stock photos and 48 Hook covers into a seamless image, showcasing work that won first place in the 2006 Virginia Press Award for Excellence of Front Cover.
