2006 Portfolio – The Assemblage
Challenge
Convey Mitchell’s design aesthetic and credentials in a hip and memorable fashion.
Action
Create a portfolio consisting several pieces collateral
1: (1) CD containing a 48-page design portfolio and a 24-page photography portfolio
2: (3) 5×7 prints of award winning work with case studies on the back
3: (1) Cover Letter
4: (1) CV
5: (1) Business Card
6: (1) Checklist of contents
Resolution
Base the creative on an envelope found in Stanley Kubrick’s “Doctor Stranglove: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”. If the recipient recognized the homage, the portfolio would be a great conversation starter. If the recipient did not recognize the homage, the portfolio would be striking enough to leave a lasting impression.
